Hotel de Charme Laveno

We enjoyed a great 7 night stay at Hotel de Charme Laveno. The hotel is stylish, scrupulously clean and very well located for guests to easily enjoy all that Lake Maggiore has to offer. Particular highlights for us were the food and the staff - who were delightful. To find a hotel staffed by people from across the age range who clearly enjoy what they do and who genuinely care about guest comfort is all too rare. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely lovely experience at Hotel Charme! We were there for our honeymoon and were so pleased with the service, cleanliness, and amenities of the hotel. The pool was gorgeous (although a little warm) and the spa amenities were great to relax in. The outdoor patio is beautiful as well! The food was very good for being all inclusive--I would probably give it a 3.5 or 4 out of 5, the pasta dishes were better than the meat ones in our experience (we also are comparing it to the other food we had in Rome, which sets a high bar). The wine buffet and appetizer buffet were a great touch though, and they also made delicious negronis and aperol spritzes!

It is the best hotel for pairs I have ever visited up to now. Not from the luxury point of view etc., but: 1. Building with a nice history and where you feel very nice 2. Extremely friendly staff, they do their job with passion and everyday smile 3. The quality and variety of food is simply excellent. This is not a type of hotel for people who look for all inclusive program where the quantity is the most important. Here you receive decent amount of food with a very high quality from local sources. 4. You find a nice "silence" here, relax and enjoy it 5. The cleaning team is great and deserve to be pointed out - great job, thank you! 6. From the first moment, when you drive in (!!) to the reception, you will be amazed and happy. 7. You are in a quiet place but with a lot of tourist opportunities around If you ask me about one thing I would ask for, it would be to have a different italian wines every evening, but this is really neglectible thing and minor topic, just if someone asks :)! Thank you for one of the best holidays in my life. It was really charming :)!
